oh god above, let me reach my dear
and with a kiss to their forehead
swallow evil thoughts into my own stomache
oh god above, take the pain off their pure heart
and give it to mine
let me have it all please
oh god above, let them cry into my arms
leaving the softness of their eyes dry
as I hold the tears in my chest of sponge

as sick as my body is, it can handle it!
