Happy
happy came to visit me
he possessed my body as my soul left it
raised my temperature and flattened my forehead
he called me his wendy
lowered the gravity and watched me float
he assured me he would live in my room
that he liked me and all I had to say
I was infatuated by every little white lie of his
and I thanked him as I let his light touch every bit of my naked body
I was too high to notice when he left
my body smacked the floor when the fairy dust lost its magic
the smell of his perfume hung still in my air
but I started to think maybe it was in my head
I wrapped myself in cloth
ashamed of the pinky promise kisses I gave him
how could I touch a hand that is not mine?
I turned off the light to see less of me
I wished he'd left a receipt
