Bonded
Call my lifeline, I need his bloom
My only shelter through the storm
Kalimba echoes my empty room
Arms that hold me, held by my own
Sigh me some courage
So I can face my dreams
Then leave me shivering
So my pen calls again
We are now brothers,
Although that sounds dumb.
Your pain is mine
I will cry on your behalf,
Would you eat on mine?
Replay, replay, replay.
I have now been tied to you
Threads reach out of my body in every direction,
Leading to the ones keeping them secret
Never speak of the invisible thread,
Not even to each other
This bond’s magic is too precious,
It thrives in silence
It soothes my waterfall into a river
Plants flowers around for the bees in my chest
Blows a breeze of the only air I can breathe
However, I find It tugs at my hand
Leaving a friction burn
that only you and I understand
